the EduRoute Driver, a mobile application for nursery drivers to manage child pickup and drop-off operations. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
02 What We Collect
- Real-time GPS location — collected only while a trip is active, to share with parents for live tracking.
- Child status updates — the statuses you log during trips (Arrived at Home, On Boarding, Delivered).
- Trip records — timestamps and trip history for nursery operational records.
03 How We Use It
- To display assigned home addresses and the nursery on your in-app navigation map.
- To share your live location with parents during active trips so they can track the vehicle.
- To deliver child status updates to parents and nursery administrators.
- To maintain trip records for nursery management oversight.
04 Location Data
Your GPS location is collected only during an active trip. Once the trip ends, live location sharing stops immediately. Location is not stored permanently — only trip timestamps are kept.
The app requires precise location permission on Android. You may revoke this in your device settings, though it will disable the core navigation features.
05 Data Sharing
Your live location is shared with parents of children on your active trip only during that trip. Trip records are accessible to the nursery administration. We use trusted third-party providers (cloud hosting, mapping services) under strict data agreements. We do not sell your data.
06 Data Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of closure. Trip records are deleted after 90 days. Live GPS coordinates are not stored permanently.
07 Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
