This policy explains how EduPilot Student collects and uses your personal data when you use the mobile app EduPilot Student, made for students in Egypt. The app lets you view and submit homework and exams, check attendance and grades, and receive updates from your teacher. Your data is processed in line with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
2. What Information We Collect
- Your student information — name, student code, grade level and group, provided by your teacher or school.
- Your activity — homework submissions, exam answers (including auto-saved drafts), attendance marks, grades and leaderboard scores.
- Usage data — device token for notifications, app version, crash reports and IP address for security.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To show your homework and exams and deliver your answers to your teacher for grading.
- To record your attendance using your teacher’s code and show your progress.
- To send you notifications and to keep the app secure.
4. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your data. Your submissions and grades are shared with your teacher and school, and your parent or guardian can view your progress through the parent app. We also share data with service providers needed to run the app (cloud hosting, push notifications, email and AI) and when required by law.
5. Data Security and Retention
We protect your data with encryption, restricted access and secure storage. We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations. Your parent or guardian can request deletion of your data at any time.
